Day 2 "Ms Alaska"

'to move forward you have to move through'...a song written for a dear friend to help re-ignite her creativity after giving birth to her 2nd son.

Sometimes i get commissioned to write a song for someone else and it ends up being the medicine I didn’t know i needed…this was the case with “Ms Alaska”

When i look back at the music i’ve created over the last 3 years i can see that i have aptitude for writing for women. I adore making women feel celebrated, seen, heard and inspired. It was actually when i was writing this song for my dear friend Nat Alaska that i first realised this spark. ….

I met Nat through BUS LIFE , when cam and i were converting our coaster bus i found Nat’s youtube channel and i was OBSESSED (watch here) they had converted their own coaster bus and were travelling Aus . After connecting with her on instagram and then eventually meeting in person we became fast friends. Nat is NOW a mum of three boys, but when i met her she had a two yr old and was pregnant with her 2nd……
